Built as a 4.5' x 9' table, this Pickering Designs piece combines
professional playability with bold architectural presence, using stone,
metal, light, and precision construction to create something far beyond a
standard pool table.
The structure is built around a heavy-duty internal steel pedestal and
platform, engineered for strength and professional-level stability. The
base is wrapped in gold DecoMetal by Formica, giving the table both
serious structural integrity and a striking visual finish.
The playing surface features three pieces of professional-grade 1" slate,
finished with Slate Gray Simonis cloth for speed, accuracy, and long-term
performance.
The stonework uses Cambria, a man-made quartz and natural crystal
surface selected for its depth, durability, and luxury appearance.
Gold rail sights and gold pocket nail details complete the look, while
integrated LED lighting adds a dramatic glow and highlights the table’s
architectural form.
