Most rooms cannot give up a whole table to poker. A dining top sits over the playing surface and turns it into somewhere people eat, then comes off when you want to play. Nobody walking in knows there is a poker table under it.

Yes, with a dining top over it. The top sits on the playing surface and lifts off when you want to play, so the room gets both without needing space for two tables.
What size is a poker table and how many does it seat?
A standard oval is about eight feet and seats eight to ten with the dealer. A round table around five feet seats six to eight. Tell us the room and how many people usually play and we will work back from that.
What is a poker table top?
A playing surface with no base, meant to sit on a table you already own. We build full tables rather than tops, and a dining top does the opposite job, covering a poker table so it works as a dining table.
